Rehoming – Profile

History:

Unfortunately, we don’t have much history on either Bracken or Hope, Bracken came into us as a stray and Hope was brought into us due to a previous owner being unable to keep

Behaviour observations on site:

Both came into our care separate but since then, we have successfully managed to mix Bracken & Hope and they will now be looking for their forever home together.

Bracken is an independent boy who likes to do things at his own pace although he has started to get a little more outgoing since being paired with Hope but will happily spend most of his day relaxing in his hay box and daydreaming about his forever home. Hope is a sweet, friendly girl and is the more inquisitive of the two and is normally the first to greet you and see if you have any treats. Since coming into our care Hopes confidence has grown a lot care although she can be nervous of sudden noises.

Both Bracken & Hope can be a little unsure around handling at times so will need a bit of patience in this area as they currently prefer to do things on their own terms.

They will require either indoor or outdoor housing with a run permanently attached (see photo above for an example). If you are interested in adopting Bracken & Hope please fill in an application form below. To help speed up the adoption process, please forward us photos of your setup.

Adoption fee: £45

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbit.

Medical history:

Bracken is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had his teeth checked and he currently has no other health concerns.

Hope is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and teeth checked with no current medical issues. Hope was also very underweight when she came to us, but she is now at a weight we are happy with, she also had very sore hocks, this has improved and we continue to monitor but we would recommend a thick bedding.
