Rehoming – Profile

History:

Buttons came into our care due to the owner not being able to provide the care they needed.

Behaviour observations on site:

When Buttons first came into our care he settled fairly quickly and although being shy, he couldn’t resist coming over for some fuss. He is very affectionate and will come over to greet you and enjoy the human company. He has a sweet personality and is very handsome, gentle, chilled back boy. Buttons can be slightly weary of noises so he will often take himself to his safe space in his carrier or his covered bed if it gets too much for him. He likes to be comfy and will find a cosy place to sleep in his unit. Buttons would love to have a calm home environment where he can be around people and come over for fuss when he wants it.

Buttons hasn’t shown interest in playing whilst he has been in our care but this may change in a home environment once he feels comfortable and settled.

Buttons cannot live with cats. He could possibly live with an older dog who is used to having cats around. He could live with children 8+.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adoption fee: £80 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Medical history:

Buttons is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 7/11/23 – 14/11/23 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee.
Buttons has no known medical conditions.

4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Additional information:

Buttons cannot be homed in Southsea.
