Rehoming – Profile
Sadly, Cielo came to the shelter after his owner was admitted to hospital and has subsequently had to go into long-term care.
Behaviour observations on site:
This little parrot might be small in size but he’s big in personality…
Cielo is enjoying aviary life here at The Ark; he loves the large space where he can really stretch his wings, playing with his wide variety of bird toys and having a nosy at the goings on outside his aviary. But he is a little lonely and is looking for other parrotlets to share an aviary with.
Can you offer him the family and the new start that he longs for?
Cielo needs to be rehomed to a large outdoor aviary with other parrotlets. Sizes of aviaries can be discussed with staff.
If you are interested in our parrotlet, please fill in an application form and also send in any photos you may have of your setup along with measurements (to firstname.lastname@example.org) to help speed up the adoption process. Thank you.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the parrotlet.
Cielo has been wormed and has no current medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
