Rehoming – Profile
Behaviour observations on site:
Daphne is a beautiful friendly girl who will take up a whole sofa, is playful and very affectionate. She loves to play with people or will occupy herself with toys, or chase bugs outside.
She has been tested in a home over a weekend and is a treat. She is clean, toilets outside and generally quite chilled out. She loves to stretch out for a snooze and will let you eat in peace.
Daphne is young and bouncy. She has some good foundations and responds well to training. Ideally, she is looking for a confident handler who is willing to continue her training as she is a big strong girl who would benefit from learning a few more solid basics such as ‘drop’. She is generally good at walking on the lead after the initial excitement of going out and she has made a great start to loose lead walking.
Daphne is interested and friendly towards other dogs and appreciates a calm introduction initially when greeting. She could potentially live with another dog after successful meetings here at the centre.
Daphne seems to be unphased by the outside world and likes to be able to approach new people at her pace to feel comfortable before being instant friends. Daphne could live with children but due to her size and power older teenagers in the family or adults only would be recommended.
Daphne will make a fantastic companion to a family that likes to take a stroll in the forest or beach, spend time in the garden but also like a cuddle on the sofa for hours on end. She is a big clever, soppy girl and deserves to become someone’s world and life buddy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
