Rehoming – Profile
Ebony came into our care as a stray.
Behaviour observations on site:
Beautiful Ebony is such a sweet little girl who settled as soon as she came into us. Within hours she was on staffs laps laying up to their chest for a cuddle. Quite often, she will now climb up onto your shoulder so she’s got a good view on what’s going outside, sometimes she’ll even put her front paws on your head, she’s quite a character.
She’s a gentle soul who craves human company so she would love her new owners to be around a lot of the time, she never wants the staff or volunteers to leave her, she would make a great working from home buddy.
Now Ebony has settled in the cattery environment she has started to show she has a playful side and will play with lots of different toys, she also enjoys rolling around in catnip.
As Ebony does not appear to respond to noises very well in the cattery we believe she could be deaf or have partial hearing. For this reason she is looking for a home that has plenty of space for her to explore and lots of provided enrichment to keep her entertained. If possible, a home with a catio or cat proof garden would be perfect as Ebony does enjoy being in her outside run and this would ensure she remains safe at all times.
Ebony has shown a very strong dislike to other cats so needs to be an only pet in her new home, she can live with children aged 12+ who will not startle her and she does get a little panicky with sudden movements due to her possible hearing impairment.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Ebony is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated.
It is possible Ebony is either deaf or has partial hearing, she has no other known medical conditions.
4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Ebony cannot be homed in Gosport.
