Rehoming – Profile

History:

Unfortunately we don’t have any previous history for Elsie as she was allegedly found in a carrier on the side of a road.

Behaviour observations on site:

Elsie was very shy and nervous when she first came into us and spent all of her time hiding in the back of her carrier, only coming out at night when it was quiet and no one was around.

A few days later she really started to show what a sweet little girl she is. She still spends most of her time in her carrier but is quick to come out for lots of fuss and attention as soon as she sees you.

Elsie is incredibly sensitive to noise and will panic and run back into her carrier if she gets startled. For this reason she would benefit for her own quiet room to initially settle in. She can live with teenaged+ children who will be calm around her. Elsie needs to be the only pet in her new home.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Medical history:

Elsie has no known medical conditions.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Additional Information:

Elsie cannot be homed in Southampton and her adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
