Rehoming – Profile
History:
Felix came into our care as unfortunately his owner passed away.
Felix did take a little while to settle in our care and initially preferred the comfort of his carrier. However, he is now usually straight out to greet you for some gentle fuss once he’s comfortable with you. Once he trust you he does enjoy being stroked and having a little dribble. He can be a very loving and affectionate boy who sometimes shows his playful side.
Felix previously lived with one female owner and was incredibly attached to her. In the past Felix has had some bad experiences with men and doesn’t seem to be very keen on them. He would prefer a female only household, however, men in the household will be considered but he may need a couple of meets at the shelter to gain Felix’s trust prior to an adoption.
Felix does easily get worried and finds new environments and situations a little scary. For this reason he would benefit from an unused room to initially settle in and things to be done slowly and at a pace he feels happy with.
Felix has never lived with cats or dogs before so would be best suited as an only pet. He has never had any contact with children so would prefer an adult only home who are happy to give him time to settle.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Medical history:
Felix has had a dental in our care and has no known health issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Additional information:
Felix cannot be homed in Fareham and his adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
