History:
Jasper was signed over into our care by his previous owner.
Jasper can be quite a shy and sensitive boy who likes his creature comforts. He prefers the comfort of his carrier most of the time but as soon as you open his unit door he is straight out to say hello. Jasper loves being stroked and has a strong purr on him. If you happen to stop he will happily rub against you to encourage you to carry on. On the other hand he will also give you a little nip if he’s had enough but will happily remain on your lap purring away, he does love a cuddle.
Jasper is starting to show he has a playful side. He enjoys rolling in catnip and loves chasing a feather stick toy.
Jasper is really sensitive to any noises and sudden movements so would be best suited as an only pet and would prefer an adult only home, although he could possibly live with teenage children as long as they are calm around him.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Jasper has been in a foster home for a few months where they reported he was often sick, although he has not been sick once while he has been in the cattery environment. We have taken bloods which we’re normal. He has been successfully weaned from a special diet back onto normal wet food and we have given him grass, both which did not result in any sickness issues. In his foster home Jasper did eat some plants in the house and garden which we believe is what could’ve caused him to be sick, for this reason he needs to go to a home with no or a minimum amount of cat friendly plants. Jasper has no known medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Jasper cannot be homed in Chichester or Hill Head and his adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
