Handsome Jeremy feels very conflicted in the cattery environment. He can be quite wary when he first meets you and his instinct is to hiss but he really doesn’t mean it. Once he gets to know you he’s a really loving and affectionate boy who enjoys being fussed, he’ll even jump up on his back legs to nudge your hand for more attention. Having said this, Jeremy does occasionally change his mind and will swipe out at you.
Jeremy is incredibly foody so this is a great way to make friends with him, although he can be a bit snatchy with treats.
Jeremy is wary of sudden movements and loud noises so would be best suited as an only pet and can live with teenagers who understand he will need time and space to settle and things will need to be done at a pace that suits Jeremy. It would be beneficial for Jeremy’s new owners to have some understanding of reading cat behaviour.
Jeremy cannot be homed in Baffins and his adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
