Rehoming – Profile
History:
Unfortunately, we don’t have much history on King Arthur, as he was found in a box in an alleyway with two other male Guinea Pigs. All were separated due to fighting.
Behaviour observations on site:
What a tale of a venture King Arthur has been on already! His journey began with Sir Lancelot and Sir Tristan, whom at the time were his noble herd until one day as King, he decided it was time for a change! True love is calling, and he cannot possibly rule his new forever home (castle) without a Queen! Do you have a home fit for a King and a female piggie/s looking for love and would benefit from having a male (neutered) as a companion? We offer a bonding service at the shelter, please ask for more information about the service.
Despite being a King, this handsome piggie is just like the rest of them when it comes to his characteristics! Upon being greeted he can be shy, but a banquet of fresh veg usually tempts him out to give a royal wave. King Arthur thrives in an outdoor run where he can enjoy the fresh air and lots of grass to graze away on. You’ll often see him perform the ‘popcorn’ which is a sign of a happy piggie! Since saying farewell to his previous friends, King Arthur is very excited to have a beautiful Queen by his side (and of course friends of humankind) where he can live happier and more confidently.
King Arthur and his new friend/s will need a 6ft x 2ft enclosure indoors or outdoors (this is for 2 piggies), and we do recommend a run for the garden with a lid.
If you are interested in King Arthur, please fill in an application form and send in any photos you may have of your set up to help speed up the adoption process. Thank you.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the guinea pig.
Medical history:
King Arthur is castrated, with no current medical issues.
