Rehoming – Profile
Mia came into us as her owner could no longer offer her the care she needed.
Behaviour observations on site:
This is poor Mia’s second stay with us through no fault of her own. Mia is the sweetest girl who loves human fuss and attention. She loves being stroked and having a little explore of the cattery floor. As an older lady Mia does her enjoy her naps and is often found curled up in her favourite place, her comfy bed.
Mia needs to be an only pet and would be best suited in a calm and quiet adult only home. She would love her new family to be around most of the time as she loves being around people. She would spend all day sat next to you or on your lap if she could.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Mia has had a mini seizure while in our care which is believed to be a result of low glucose levels due to a thyroid issue. Mia is hypothyroid and is now on a low dose of medication that is correct for her. She will be on meds for life and will need regular blood tests every 6-12 months or sooner if any changes are noticed.
4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Mia cannot be homed in Southampton and her adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
