Rehoming – Profile
History:
Mocha came into our care due to the owner not being able to provide the care he needed.
Behaviour observations on site:
When Mocha first came into our care he was a little shy and wary of sounds around him and out of fear he would give a small hiss or growl if he heard anything he was unsure of nearby. Despite this he still wanted a fuss and was very affectionate and quickly grew out of his hissing and growling faze. Once he settled he found his voice and can be very vocal especially if he can see people walking by. Mocha is desperate for attention so he would love to have a home where he could be within human company. When Mocha is tired out he will often find somewhere in his unit either on his blankets or in his bed to curl up and sleep.
Mocha has lots of energy to burn off and very eagerly waits to come onto the cattery floor each day. He likes to have an explore and will chase any stick toys and has lots of fun running after ping pong balls.
Mocha can live with children 8+. He needs to be an only pet.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Medical history:
Mocha is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 31/10/23 – 7/11/23 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee.
Mocha has no known medical conditions.
4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
