Rehoming – Profile
History:
Ollie came into our care after being abandoned.
Behaviour observations on site:
When Ollie came in to us he was suffering from one of the worse cases of overgrooming we’ve seen, his back legs were red raw and very sore. It’s taken a lot of medication and the dreaded buster collar but Ollie is now looking even more handsome and has broken the routine of overgrooming himself. He has remained the biggest sweetheart throughout all his treatment.
Ollie is quite a chilled out boy and you can often find him lazing around in the sunny spot in his outdoor run, he would love to have a fully enclosed garden he can call his own.
Ollie does enjoy some fuss and attention and will keep checking back in with you to be stroked. He also has quite a playful side and enjoys having a funny five minutes playing with a variety of toys, he also loves rolling in catnip and will find any that’s left over on the cattery floor.
Ollie needs to be an only pet and can live with children 10+.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Medical history:
Ollie’s skin has now healed and his fur is starting to grow back. He is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. He has no known medical conditions.
4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Additional information:
Ollie cannot be homed in the Itchen Bridge area of Southampton.
