My Personality
Pepé is a bundle of hectic energy. He is always on the go and can be quite frantic. He loves being around people; he is an affectionate little boy and will climb all over you, he’s not shy in making friends! He loves climbing up your chest, being on your shoulder and rubbing his face all around your head!
As Pepé craves human interaction he would benefit from his new owners being around most of the time to stop him becoming frustrated and stressed at being left on his own. He will need a lot of stimulation and enrichment to keep him entertained and fulfilled.
Pepé certainly enjoys meal times and is eating out of the food bowl before you even have a chance to put it down. We’re hoping that once Pepé is settled in his new home and has a good feeding routine he will not be so manic around food.
Pepé would benefit from a quiet room to initially settle in to prevent him becoming overwhelmed in his new home. Even now out on the cattery floor, he often runs back into his safe unit as a little bit of reassurance.
Due to his hectic nature Pepé would be best suited to older children aged 12+. He needs to be an only pet to give him the best chance to settle and to prevent any frustration around sharing food and attention.
Pepé cannot be homed in Warsash and his adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
