Rehoming – Profile
Prince came into our care as unfortunately his owner died. A neighbour did take him in but they were severely allergic to him.
Behaviour observations on site:
As soon as Prince came into us he was using his charm to impress the vet on his intake. He was definitely a smooth operator! He has found the cattery environment a little scary but is beginning to settle and work his magic on the cattery staff and volunteers.
Prince is a little nervous and currently prefers the comfort and safety of his carrier. He likes a good natter when he sees you approaching his carrier and will slowly venture out to greet you once he’s sniffed you out. When he trusts you he loves nothing more than having his cheeks tickled and giving you kisses.
Prince would benefit from a quiet room to initially settle in to prevent him from becoming overwhelmed; before exploring the rest of the property and eventually a fully enclosed garden.
Prince can live with children aged 12+ who will be calm around him and give him time and space to settle. He needs to be the only pet.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Prince has no known medical conditions.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Prince cannot be homed in Fareham and his adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
