Rehoming – Profile

History:

Saffie came into our care via the dog warden, so we have no history on her.

Behaviour observations on site:

Saffie is looking for a collie experienced retirement home with a large, enclosed garden to play and relax in.

Saffie is a joy to be around and greets everyone with a happy waggy tail. Despite her age, she still has a zest for life and loves nothing more than pottering around in the field playing with her humans.

She is a superstar to be groomed and lays down patiently to be brushed. We know this golden girl will bring a smile to anyone’s face and we are so excited to see her settled in her new home.

She walks very well on lead and is learning how to behave more appropriately around other dogs. Currently Saffie will stalk and attempt to herd other dogs (as collie’s do) but this can be intimidating to other dogs, in which Saffie struggles to understand!

With an experienced collie lover, Saffie will thrive.

Saffie is a very gentle, sweet natured older lady who thrives on human company and will quickly become your best friend and companion.

She is very bright and always willing to learn new things and will benefit from mental and physical stimulation as well as daily cuddles.

Saffie is looking ideally for someone who is active, she would suit living in a rural location with quiet country walks and access to a large secure field for off lead time with someone who can give the love she deserves.

Adoption fee: £180 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
