Behaviour observations on site:
Poor Shadow has come into us from a multi cat household and was initially in a double unit with her mum. Shadow would spend all her time at the back of her carrier and was really worried about our intentions. She became shut down so the decision was made to separate Shadow and her mum and they have both thrived as a result.
Shadow still prefers the comfort of her carrier but is happy to have lots of fuss and attention in it. She will roll over onto her side, is constantly purring and has the cutest little squeaky meow. Shadow is also a paddy pawing queen.
Feeling safe is really important for Shadow so she will need an unused room of her own to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property and eventually a fully enclosed house.
Shadow has come from a multi cat household but is much happier being on her own so will need to be an only pet in her new home. She can live with teenagers+ who will be gentle and calm around her.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Medical history:
Shadow does have a little alopecia along her back so will need vet prescribed flea treatment each month. She has no known medical conditions.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Additional information:
Shadow cannot be homed in Milbrook and her adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
