Rehoming – Profile
History:
Unfortunately, we don’t have much history on Sir Lancelot, as he was found in a box in an alleyway with two other male Guinea Pigs. Since then, he has been separated from the others due to fighting.
Behaviour observations on site:
Sir Lancelot is feeling a little lonely since having to be parted from his previous housemates and he is looking for his perfect Lady! Do you have a lonely female/s that would benefit from having a male (neutered) as a companion? We offer a bonding service at the shelter, please ask for more information about the service.
Sir Lancelot is a sweet sandy coloured boy, when he first arrived, he had an element of confidence and liked to be in charge amongst the previous males he lived with. However, staff quickly noticed that this led to fighting amongst the boys. Since being on his own, Sir Lancelot has remained as sweet as ever but has become a bit timid. He is desperate to find his new best friend/s to help find his confidence again and live in harmony. He’s destined to have the love of both humans and other piggies, as he really thrives when he gets the one-on-one attention. Can you help Sir Lancelot on his quest to find love in a new piggie/s and live happily ever after?
Sir Lancelot and his new friend/s will need a 6ft x 2ft enclosure indoors or outdoors (this is for 2 piggies), and we do recommend a run for the garden with a lid.
If you are interested in Sir Lancelot, please fill in an application form and send in any photos you may have of your set up to help speed up the adoption process. Thank you.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the Guinea pig.
Medical history:
Sir Lancelot is castrated, with no current medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
