Rehoming – Profile

History:

Unfortunately, we don’t have much history on Sir Tristan, as he was found in a box in an alleyway with two other male Guinea Pigs.

Behaviour observations on site:

Not long after their surprise arrival, it was decided that sadly Sir Tristan and his fellow knights had to be split after a few quarrels … but now a new quest has begun for Sir Tristan! Do you have a lonely female/s that would benefit from having a male (neutered) as a companion? We offer a bonding service at the shelter, please ask for more information about the service.

Sir Tristan is an Abyssinian Guinea Pig with a lot of love and energy to give. His character matches his hair do, funky and fun! Like most Guinea Pigs with new surroundings and people, he can be a little shy to start but once he’s familiar Sir Tristan would love to make some new friends – both human and piggie kind! He’s often found at the front of his castle ready to greet his human friends (often prepared with his favourite veggies!) For a short while, Sir Tristan shared his tower with King Arthur. All seemed well, but it wasn’t meant to be. But he’s now ready for his new chapter! Do you have the right home and companion to write that story?

Sir Tristan and his new friend/s will need a 6ft x 2ft enclosure indoors or outdoors (this is for 2 piggies), and we do recommend a run for the garden with a lid.

If you are interested in Sir Tristan, please fill in an application form and send in any photos you may have of your set up to help speed up the adoption process. Thank you.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the Guinea pig.

Adoption fee: £20 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Medical history:

Sir Tristan is castrated, with no current medical issues.
