Rehoming – Profile
History:
Sooty and Zebedee were bought into our care as their owners could no longer care for them as well as their mum.
Behaviour observations on site:
Sooty and Zebedee we’re really nervous when they first came into the cattery. They would hide away in the back of a carrier and at one point Zebedee even got up on the light fitting!
A few days later they started to trust us more and would warily come out to see us and enjoy a few strokes. From this point onwards they are getting braver and braver every day. They will now both come out to see you and enjoy lots of fuss, they both have lovely strong purrs. Both Sooty and Zebedee have a playful side and are full of energy once they start playing.
Even though they are growing in confidence they are still incredibly wary of any loud noises or sudden movements. For this reason they will need their own room to initially settle in, in a calm and quiet home to prevent them from panicking and feeling overwhelmed.
Sooty and Zebedee need to be only pets and can live with teenaged children+.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Medical history:
Sooty and Zebedee have no known medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Additional information:
Sooty and Zebedee cannot be homed in Paulsgrove and their adoption fee is a minimum donation of £175.
