Rehoming – Profile
Behaviour observations on site:
Susie is such a sweet natured little girl who thrives on human company. She frequently spends time in our reception, greeting everyone that comes in. Since being in our care, we have noticed some signs that suggest Susie may suffer with separation anxiety. She may not be able to be left alone at all initially as she becomes quite agitated when left and can find it hard to settle.
Susie may need a little guidance with housetraining as she settles into her new home.
Susie is relaxed around other dogs but is generally uninterested in them. She could live with another calm, older dog who will respect her.
Susie will make a wonderful addition to any loving family, she would love a home with a secure garden to relax in, and an active family who can take her on lots of lovely walks.
Susie is a gentle soul who seems to love everyone she meets, she will be the perfect companion for someone who is home most of the day. Any new potential adopter should be willing to work through separation anxiety related behaviours, with the knowledge that this could take some time.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Medical history:
Since being in our care Susie has had a large dental, resulting in quite a few teeth removed. She will also be having her dew claws removed and neutered when she is ready (due to her currently being in season). This will be done at a later date at the shelter.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Cannot be rehomed to Basingstoke
