Name: Hattie & Hennie
Age: Unknown
Sex: Females
Breed: Chickens
Ref number: 10 & 15

Personality:
Hattie and Hennie are two curious and active chickens who love their outdoor time, scratching around in the grass or basking in a dust bath they’ve made themselves!

Behaviour:
Both Hattie and Hennie are well handleable when required, and are quite confident to approach staff. They can naturally get a little spooked with quick movements, but do enjoy calm interaction on their level.

Housing:
These girls are looking for a predator proof chicken coop, with a large area of grass accessed via free roaming or attached to the coop. They could be housed with other chickens, as a pair or they can be rehomed separately if the applicant is unable to have both. Sizing of the enclosure can be discussed with staff.

Children/pets:
Hattie and Hennie could live around all aged children, and while we believe these chickens to be happy around young children, they should be supervised at all times. They can also live around other pets, but to be kept separately.

Vet history:
Hattie and Hennie currently have no medical issues and have recently started laying. They did arrive in very poor condition and underweight, but are now in much better health.

Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the chickens.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
