Assistant Manager Role
Assistant Manager – 16hrs per week.
Fratton shop
have retail experience plus supervisory or management experience.
Key tasks to include:
• manage the day-to-day operations of the shop
• managing staff/volunteers
• rotas
• stock replenishment
•customer service
• merchandising
• cashing up and reporting

Become a Trustee
We have a variety of different roles opening up on our Trustee board.
Our Board of Trustees is made up of volunteers who have an important role as the governing body of our charity.
They help in steering The Ark and supporting the Manager and the team in delivering to the charity’s purpose and long term sustainability.
This a voluntary position with the Board currently meeting every two months, for 2-3 hours, with a commitment to a few hours between meetings to take on governance-related tasks as required.
We are keen to recruit individuals from all areas of the community. We are open to applications from people who are new to trusteeship as well as those who are experienced trustees.
