Personality:
Hero is a gentle soul who loves people and walking with his greyhound friends, he is affectionate and calm and walks well on the lead. If you’re holding out for a Hero dog, please consider this wonderful boy, he has already won the hearts of all the people who meet him and will make a fantastic addition to his new family.
Behaviour:
We recommend Hero is muzzled when walking in public areas due to him being an ex racer but he is fully muzzle trained and wears it very well. This is purely because of his potential to chase small animals however we haven’t seen him attempt to do this while with us and he does not need the muzzle for any other reason, he is great with dogs and people. He has never lived in a home before so adopters will need to encourage appropriate behaviour in the home and have patience and understanding while he learns.
Housing:
Hero will benefit from having a garden with 6ft fencing where he can have a run and let off steam. he cannot be rehomed to the Birmingham area
Children/pets:
Hero should live with Adults and secondary school age children, he could live with other medium to large calm sight hounds subject to successful meets but cannot live with cats or small animals.
Vet history:
Hero is fully vaccinated, neutered and up to date with flea and worming treatment.
