Daffodil

Name: Daffodil

Age: 6 months approx

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic short hair

Ref number: 39

Personality:
Daffodil is a loving girl who values spending time with staff and volunteers. She is quick to make new friends and will nudge your hand to initiate some gentle strokes. She loves being on your lap and having a cuddle. Daffodil can be a little wary of external noises but has shown that she is keen to explore once she’s feeling more confident, she’s getting braver everyday and is really starting to show her beautiful personality.

Behaviour:
Daffodil will greet any socialisers as they enter her unit. She is an affectionate girl who craves human company. As soon as you sit down she will be straight on your lap, she would sit there all day if she could! Now Daffodil is feeling more settled she is beginning to show a playful side. She is a sweet girl who will make a lovely addition to a calm household.

Housing:
Daffodil does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to her unit where she feels safe, so for this reason she would benefit from a quiet space to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Southampton, SO16 area.

Children/pets:
Daffodil came into our care as she did not enjoy living with the young children in the property, for this reason she can be homed with secondary school children who will be calm and gentle around her as she can be a sensitive girl. Daffodil needs to be the only pet in the home.
