Name: Colin
Age: 1 year 10 months
Sex: Male
Breed: Old English Bulldog
Ref number: 36

Personality:
Colin is a sweet, playful and affectionate boy, who can be a little bit worried by the outside world. Colin is such a snuggle bug and would really benefit from a family who are around for most of the day as all he wants to do is sit and have cuddles.

Behaviour:
Colin has won the hearts of all the staff here at the shelter and we cannot wait to see him settled in his new home. Colin’s new family would ideally be able to be with him for most of the day as he thrives around people. He can be left for short periods, once settled and slowly introduced to this. Colin socialises well with most dogs he meets outside but can be a little unsure of some, at times. Colin walks well on the lead but he is a bull breed so can be strong when he chooses to. His new family should have a good understanding of his breed (or be willing to learn). Colin loves to play with his toys and is great fun to be around.

Housing:
Colin would benefit from having a garden with 6ft fencing where he could have a run off lead. He can be left for short periods during the day.
He cannot be homed in the PO9 area.

Children/pets:
Can live with children of primary school age. Cannot live with other dogs or cats. He would enjoy having doggy friends to walk with.

Vet history:
Colin has no on-going health concerns and is fully vaccinated, flea’d and wormed. He will need to be returned to the shelter once he is settled to be castrated.
