Herbie

Name: Herbie

Age: 2 years

Sex: male

Breed: Lop rabbit

Ref number: 40

Personality:
This is Herbie who is a curious and sociable boy, and is desperately looking to be bonded with a neutered female rabbit. Until then, Herbie loves outdoor play time on the grass or grazing away in his hay tray!

Behaviour:
Herbie can naturally be a little unsure with handling, but is gradually gaining confidence. He would require at least one meeting where staff can discuss Herbie and his requirements. Questions prior to the bonding of the rabbits can be answered too.

Housing:
Herbie can be housed either as an indoor or outdoor rabbit. This could be a large rabbit-proof room, or a large outdoor shed with a run/aviary permanently attached. Minimum sizing is 6ft x 4ft, and either accommodation must be safe environments that allow him to display his natural behaviours, like digging and foraging.

Children/pets:
Herbie can live around other animals, but to be kept separately. He can also live with children of primary school age (5-11 years) and up. Younger children should be supervised when interacting/handling rabbits.

Vet history:
Herbie has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated. He has also had a full teeth check and has no current health issues.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £55. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbit.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
